KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 12-year-old boy has been charged with involuntary manslaughter  and abandonment of a corpse Friday, the Office of the Jackson County Juvenile Officer said.

The 12-year-old is believed to be the younger brother to Montee Ross, 14, who was reported missing on Monday. On Wednesday, police found Ross’ body in a shallow grave on the south side of Kansas City.

In addition, another 16-year-old has been charged with abandonment of a corpse.

Because the boys are underage, information about their cases remain sealed.

Previously Friday, 17-year-old Jonathan Davis was charged with abandonment of a corpse.
