INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Morgan Littleton wore a bullet proof vest when he arrived at the Jackson County courthouse to hear charges read against him on Monday. A deputy said the vest was for his protection due to the nature of the crimes he’s accused of.
Littleton, 31, of Independence, Mo., is accused of having deviant sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl and assaulting two adult women — one of which is the child’s mother. In all, three women and three young girls lived with Littleton in Independence.
Littleton appeared before a judge who read the charges against him, including four counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and four counts of domestic assault in the second degree. A judge entered a not guilty plea on his behalf, as he was not represented by a lawyer.

According to court documents, the child victim told investigators the abuse started in November. The child’s mother reported Littleton to authorities when she found pictures and video recordings of some of the assaults.
The child’s mother and another women told authorities they were both in a “continuing domestic relationship” with Littleton and that he made them call him “Master.” According to court documents, the women were beaten if they used Littleton’s real name.
Littleton’s bond has been set at $500,000. He will appear in court again on May 15.
