LAWRENCE, Kan.. — On Wednesday, the city of Lawrence plans to pull off a social media ‘first’ by tweeting a minute-by-minute reenactment of Quantrill’s Raid.
Wednesday marks the 150 years since William Quantrill and 400 of his men rode into Lawrence and went on a killing spree and set the city on fire.
