OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Google Fiber may soon add another suburb to its growing list of markets.
The Overland Park City Council is expected to take up a proposed agreement from Google on Monday.
The 49-page deal will be debated at the City Hall.
Many suburbs in the metro have already signed deals to get the gigabit per second service in their neighborhoods, including Olathe, Raytown and Prairie Village.
Independence, Missouro is one of the largest areas that doesn’t have an agreement with Google Fiber.
