MERRIAM, Kan. — On Saturday, a Time Warner Cable employee suffered burns to his arm while re-installing cable in Merriam.

Lieutenant Daniels with the Merriam Police Department confirmed Saturday that around 8:30 a.m. in the morning, police were called to a residence in the 10000 block of W 70th Terrace.

The Time Warner employee had been re-installing cable to a residence when one of his arms came into contact with a live electrical wire. He suffered second degree burns to his left arm, and was taken to an area hospital.
