Kansas City, MO – Week after week the Kansas City Chiefs continue to impressive. Just one week after winning one game more than they did in all of 2012, the Chiefs have doubled their win total from last season with a 31-7 win over the New York Giants.
The Chiefs (4-0) used three touchdown passes from Alex Smith, a punt return for score from Dexter McCluster, and a 51 yard field goal from Ryan Succop to down the Giants (0-4), who are still looking for their first win of the season.
Running back Jamaal Charles, wide receiver Dwayne Bowe and tight end Sean McGrath all caught touchdown passes from Smith. Victor Cruz caught a 69 yard scoring pass from Eli Manning.
Smith finished the game with a quarterback rating of 84.2, with 3 touchdown passes and 2 interceptions. Manning finished the contest with a 64.8 quarterback rating, with one touchdown pass and one interception. The Chiefs next play on the road next Sunday at Tennessee at noon.
