LANDOVER, Md. — The Chiefs beat the Washington Redskins 45-10 Sunday.

It’s their first victory in a month, and it snaps a three-game losing streak. They had a chance to clinch a playoff spot, but it didn’t happen.

In addition to beating Washington, the Chiefs needed either Miami or Baltimore to lose. Both won, so the Chiefs will have to wait another week.

If the Chiefs win at Oakland next Sunday, they will clinch an AFC Wildcard spot regardless what any other team does.
