NORFOLK, Va. – Tevin Monroe’s supposed initial goal was to get a job at a McDonald’s, but he probably isn’t loving the outcome of his trip to get an application. TV station WVEC reports that Monroe has been charged with multiple weapons counts after displaying a gun to the manager.

Monroe, 31, had asked the manager for an application sometime last week. When the manager told him that the application was available online, Monroe allegedly raised his shirt to reveal a gun in his waistband.

The supervisor managed to supply Monroe with a paper application, who in turn started filling it out. In the process of filling out his personal information, police arrived and arrested Monroe according to WVEC.

Monroe is currently in the Norfolk city jail and has been charged with brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.
