SEATTLE, Wash. — Surveillance video of a frightening event on a Seattle bus from November shows a bold and dangerous move made by a passenger unraveled an armed robbery. The video released on Wednesday and obtained by KCPQ shows 19-year-old Trevonnte Brown wearing a nylon stocking over his head as he worked his way down the bus aisle with a handgun.

Brown sticks the gun in the face of a passenger who had not been paying attention, but the passenger makes a quick move at the gun and begins to scuffle with Brown.

Many riders can be seen fleeing once Brown and the passenger hit the floor, but a few come to the passenger’s aid. There were at least three that helped subdue Brown until police arrived on scene.

Brown is now being held on a $350,000 bond in the King County Jail and has been charged with first-degree robbery and attempted armed robbery according to KCPQ.
