COLUMBIA, Mo. — Playing in front of a crowd of less than 2,500, the Missouri Tigers overcame a 13-point deficit in the second half and won their first round NIT game 85-77 on Tuesday.

The Tigers now advance to second round of the tournament to meet either Toledo or Southern Mississippi on Sunday night.

Jabari Brown finished with a game-high 30 to lead Missouri. The Tigers played with only seven scholarship players. Both Wes Clark and Shane Rector were suspended because they broke team rules. Both were arrested over the weekend on suspension of possession of marijuana charges.
