ST. ANN, Mo. (AP) — Police in St. Louis County continue to search for the driver who struck a blind woman and her service dog.
KTVI-TV reports that the woman and dog were crossing a street in the St. Ann area Tuesday night when they were hit by a car that left the scene.
The woman suffered bruises but is recovering. The dog was treated at an animal hospital, but will need re-evaluation to determine if it can still provide service to the woman.
