KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A plane at the Kansas City International Airport was reportedly struck by lightning and was forced to make an emergency landing.
On Thursday afternoon lightning reportedly hit United Airlines flight #4314 while it was headed inbound towards the KCI airport from Cleveland, Ohio. The plane was initially scheduled to land at KCI at 1:25 p.m., but due to the lightning strike, didn’t land until about 1:45 p.m.
Fortunately the plane was able to land without further incident.
