AUSTRALIA — I think I have a frog in my throat. No, really. I do have a frog in my throat!
Life in the great outdoors can be treacherous. Fascinating. Bewildering. One fisherman learned first-hand just how bizarre life in the wild can be.
When angler Angus James went to remove the lure from the jungle perch he caught, he spotted something in its throat. Something green. And alive.
A tree frog peered back at him.
“I was shocked,” James told News Limited in Australia. “I thought it might have been grass at first, then it blinked. I always carry a camera, so I took the pic and then he jumps out.”
James posted the picture to Facebook.
“It has gone all around the world,” he said. “So many people have shared it. There’s people commenting on the photo in languages I don’t even understand.
The frog lived to see another day. So did the fish.
