KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thousands of people witnessed a wonderful moment Sunday night at Union Station, when Afghanistan veteran Brandon Garrison received keys to a new home.

When he returned from battle, Garrison struggled with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He decided to help veterans with similar struggles. He’s heavily involved in the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Because of his commitment and service, Bank of America and Nehemiah Community Reinvestment Fund chose Garrison to receive a home in Kansas City, Kan.

Garrison saw his new home, which he will share with his fiance, Monday morning.
