KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting incident which took place over the weekend.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday Kansas City Missouri police responded to a shooting near 39th and Indiana. When officers arrived on scene they located 21-year-old Brandon Dean, who had suffered a gunshot wound, laying on the floor inside of a business at 3900 Indiana. Police were told Dean had been walking near 40th and Indiana when an unknown black male allegedly pulled out a handgun and began shooting at him.
Dean, who was in serious condition, was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The Kansas City Missouri Police Department is investigating this case as a homicide.
