KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police have identified the person killed in a motorcycle crash late Sunday night. Police said Melody Hinshaw, 61, was killed in a two-vehicle accident involving her motorcycle and another vehicle in the northbound lanes of the I-635 near Kansas Ave., in Kansas City, Kan.
The accident happened around 11 p.m. Sunday. No one in the car suffered serious injuries. Traffic on I-635 was temporarily closed.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation. Anyone who may have been a witness to this accident is asked to call the Kansas Highway Patrol at 913.782.8100 and ask for Master Trooper Candice Breshears.
