KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead after a triple shooting early Sunday morning in Kansas City, Missouri. Two others are recovering from injuries.

It happened at Southwest Blvd. and Broadway just after 2 a.m.

According to Police Chief Darryl Forte, a car with three people inside stopped at the intersection. Two other vehicles pulled up on either side of the car and begin firing.

The chief says the suspects fired multiple rounds into the victim’s car and left.

The three people inside were rushed to the hospital. One later died while in surgery.
