KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Two night events have hit the Kansas Speedway schedule, as the Speedway hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on May 9, 2015, and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series the night before on May 8.

“Our May night races were highly anticipated by our fans and I feel like both races were entertaining and I’m looking forward to hosting another weekend of night racing in 2015,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren in the news release. “Being a part of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup is exciting for our fans and with this new date, we’ll be the final race in the Contender round with the remaining championship drivers trying to win the Hollywood Casino 400 to ensure that they move on to the next round.”

Additionally, the NASCAR Nationwide Series will return to Kansas Speedway on Oct. 17, for the Kansas Lottery 300.

Tickets for the 2015 season will go on sale after Kansas Speedway’s October 2014 race weekend. Fans that purchase weekend tickets for Kansas Speedway’s upcoming October weekend will be among the first to be able to purchase 2015 tickets.
