OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Police are looking for the driver responsible for a hit and run accident in Overland Park.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Overland Park police say a vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle at 49th and Antioch. The occupants of one of the vehicles got out of their vehicle to speak to the driver of the other vehicle. Police say as the occupants of the vehicle walked back to their vehicle, the driver of the other vehicle struck one of the people from the first vehicle, and then left the scene.
The victim was taken to an area hospital. Police say the victim’s injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Overland Park police say they are currently conducting a search for the hit and run driver who fled the scene.
