FOX 4 and Southeast Enterprises are joining forces to collect and recycle holiday lights.
“In addition to keeping holiday lights out of the landfill, we have the benefit of providing challenging work for over 160 employees with developmental disabilities,” stated Megan Gurera, Business Development Director at Southeast Enterprises.
Lights can be taken to any Kansas City Metro BancAbility location through January 20, 2015. Collection containers will be in placed in each bank. Any indoor or outdoor lights are accepted and 100 percent of holiday lights collected will be recycled.
