IMPERIAL, Mo. — Authorities in Jefferson County say a man fatally shot his sister before trying to kill himself.
Jefferson County Sheriff Glen Boyer says the 55-year-old victim called 911 on Sunday and said her brother was out of control before the call dropped.
Deputies found the St. Louis woman dead in the driveway of a residence. Her 47-year-old brother was found with a gunshot wound in the head and was flown to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
Their identities haven’t been released.
Their mother tells authorities her children got into an argument before the shooting.
No charges have been reported.
