Man sentenced in child molestation case
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 51-year-old Kansas City man is sentenced to five decades behind bars for molesting a young girl.
The Jackson County prosecutor announced Saturday that Frank Demars has been sentenced to 49 years in prison.
A jury found Demars guilty in December of statutory sodomy and child molestation. Prosecutors say Demars began molesting the victim when she was just nine years old.
