KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Officers are searching for a suspect in an early morning shooting which has left one person dead and another in serious condition.

Around five o’clock Sunday morning, police responded to reports of a shooting at a residence located in the 11700 block of Fuller. When officers arrived at the scene, they located two shooting victims inside the home. One of the victims, who was a black male believed to be in his 30s, was transported and later died at an area hospital. The second victim was a female in her 50s, who is currently in serious condition but is expected to survive.

Witnesses at the scene told police an argument led to the shootings. They said a suspect fled the scene on foot. Police have no suspect description available at this time.
