LAWRENCE, Kan. — President Barack Obama is scheduled to arrive in Lawrence Wednesday night, Jan. 21 for his visit and speech at Anschutz Sports Pavilion, 1575 Irving Hill Road on Thursday. Jan. 22.

The event is free, but tickets are limited.

KU students, staff and faculty may get tickets beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Student Union Box Office, 1301 Jayhawk Blvd., located on Level 4.

Members of the public may get tickets beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday. They should go to the Dreher 4-H Building at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper Street.

His speech is expected to begin at about 11:20 a.m.
