KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The stars of “Get Hard” sat down with FOX 4’s Russ Simmons to chat about their latest project.

Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart joined comedic forces in “Get Hard,” a movie that pokes fun at racial stereotypes. Their largely improvisation antics are punctuated by a lot of broad slapstick humor. The two not only chatted about their new film with Simmons but also their favorite prison movies of all time. Watch the video above to find out what the two had to say.

The screening of “Get Hard” generated a lot of blow back when it recently screened at the South By Southwest film festival. Accusations of racial stereotyping stung filmmaker Etan Coen and stars Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart. Russ asked the stars about whether or not they felt that they went too far with their satiric comedy.
