KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Authorities are investigating following a deadly shooting in Kansas City, Kansas, late Saturday night.

According to police, the victim—identified by family to FOX 4 as 35-year-old Glenn Rugley—was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 1700 block of Short Avenue around 10:30 on Saturday night.

Rugley’s family told FOX 4 that the victim was a father of seven children, with an eigth child on the way. There will be a vigil for him on Sunday afternoon.
