KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A former teacher in the North Kansas City School District pleaded guilty Thursday to sodomy.
Samuel Waltemath pleaded guilty to second-degree statutory sodomy, which is a class C felony, for a case stemming from May of 2015.
Waltemath was a teacher at Northgate Middle school when rumors started to fly in August of 2015. He was fired soon after and turned himself into police.
Waltemath will be sentenced on Thursday, Dec. 8.
