GARDNER, Kan. — A single-engine Beachcraft airplane crashed shortly after takeoff on Wednesday at Gardner Municipal Airport. Two people were on board the plane and suffered minor injuries, but were not transported to a hospital.
The plane went down around 12:30 p.m., in a field and crashed into a fence, but remained upright. No word on what caused the plane to crash.
