KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A metro man has been found guilty in the 2010 murder of 19-year-old Sabrina Jones during an armed robbery on the city’s East Side.
Howard Harman, 34, of Independence, was found guilty of first-degree murder, robbery and two counts of armed criminal action in connection to the May 18, 2010 murder of Jones in a Kansas City home.
Harman is set to be sentenced on July 17. He faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
According to prosecutors, Harmon and three other armed suspects shot and killed Jones with a sawed-off shotgun during a home robbery on the city’s East Side. Another victim was shot four times with a handgun, but survived to testify against Harmon.
The cases against the three other suspects are pending.
