KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Northland mother was at home just days after having her third child when something rare and shocking happened to her heart.

Connie Ricklefs, along with other heart survivors, will be modeling the latest women’s fashion at Runway for the Heart at Liberty Hospital Feb. 4, 2012 from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature several heart patients sharing their success stories as well as a Macy’s runway show and a presentation from Liberty Hospital cardiologists discussing the latest advances in women’s heart disease.
