KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Heart Strings Gala brings Band of Angels supporters together for an evening of fun and fundraising. FOX 4’s Mark Alford will be emceeing the event. Proceeds will then be used to fund instrument purchases, provide full scholarships to summer music camp, assist with music lesson tuition. Saxophonist George Shelby and Mike Meyer with Meyer Music visited FOX 4 to share about how Band of Angels started and what they hope to do with the organization in the near future. The gala will be Saturday, Feb. 6 from 5:15 to 10 p.m.
