HARTFORD, Conn. — It’s a story that will have you re-thinking the three-second rule for food that drops on the floor.  If you’re eating right now, you should put your food down.

The weatherman at a news station in Hartford, Conn., noticed some cereal on the floor, so during the live newscast he decided to pick it up off the floor and eat it.  It turned out, it was not the breakfast he thought it was.

The weatherman later explained on the air that it was not cereal, but that his cat must have thrown up and he stepped in it and he ate cat vomit on the air.
