Let the never-ending heated debate ensue. Who makes the best barbecue in Kansas City?  Everyone will never agree on one place. But one thing we can agree on is that barbecue isn’t only food, it’s a culture.

Two filmmakers have made it their mission to capture the essence of and the secret behind the success of barbecue in Kansas City.

Kevin Fossland and Martin Diggs told us all about “The Kansas City Barbecue Documentary.”

Kevin and Martin will speak more about their finding during a special discussion at the Central Library at 14 W. 10th Street. It will be held on Sunday, July 21 at 2 p.m. Admission is free, but registration is required. Call 816-701-3407 to RSVP or register at kclibrary.org.
