LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — On Thursday, the Lee’s Summit Police Department will give a whole new meaning to the words “protect and serve.”
Officers will trade in their uniforms and badges for aprons and plates as the police department hosts their second annual Tip A Cop at Habenero’s Restaurant.
FOX 4 News’ Kathy Quinn was at the restaurant on Thursday’s FOX 4 Morning Show to highlight the event.
The Lee’s Summit Police Department’s Tip A Cop will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Habenero’s Restaurant in Lee’s Summit.
All proceeds from the event benefits the Special Olympics of Missouri.
