Maggi Pivovar, a 2007 survivor of Bacterial Meningitis shared her story on FOX 4’s Morning Show.
Maggi said in 2007 she thought she had the flu. Two months later she lost her legs and left the hospital after a battle with Bacterial Meningitis. Maggi is now the executive director of Maggi’s Foundation and spends her time educating people about the deadly disease and about the vaccines that can prevent it.
