“Mmmm, beer!,” as Homer Simpson would say.  What kind of beer do you drink?  Are you joining the growing trend of drinking craft brews?

From wheats to lagers, to stouts to porters, beer is not what it used to be.  The options and flavors are endless, thanks to the the rise in popularity and success of craft brews.

This weekend, the Waldo neighborhood in Kansas City will turn into a a craft beer lover’s paradise at the annual HopFest.

George Clark, the general manager of Lew’s Grill and Bar and Chris Lewellen, the owner of Lew’s, stopped by Tuesday’s FOX 4 Morning Show to talk about the different craft beers.

HopFest is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, in the parking lot behind The Well in Waldo.  Forty different brewers as well as more than 100 beers will be represented.

General admission is $35.  VIP admission is $55.  The VIP admission allows you to go in to HopFest at 1:00 p.m., a full hour before the general public.
