KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jeff Gordon is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion. He’s won the Daytona 500 three times. He’s been in several crashes and even a few commercials.
Gordon is a leader in the sport of racing and now he’s trying to lead the fight against pertussis or what is more commonly known as whooping cough.
Jeff Gordon appeared on Friday’s FOX 4 Morning Show to talk about the national campaign he’s supporting to stop the spread of whooping cough and raise awareness that adults should receive vaccinations to prevent its spread.
Gordon will compete Sunday in the Hollywood Casino 400 which is a part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Kansas Speedway.
