More than half of all adults would like to eat breakfast every day, yet only one-third actually do. Hy-Vee Registered Dietitian, Bethany Frazier, will remind your audience about not only the health benefits of breakfast, but also how convenient making breakfast a part of a regular routine can be.  Bethany will also show a fast and easy recipe to pack protein into their breakfast meals.

Protein Pancakes

Serves 4

All you need:

  • ¼ cup protein powder
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

All you do:

  1. Mix together all ingredients until a batter consistency is formed.
  2. Heat a skillet to medium-high heat.
  3. Drop about 1/8 cup of batter onto heated skillet. When batter starts to bubble, flip and cook until browned on both sides.
