(CNN) — Well, at least some One Direction fans should be happy.
Although it seems like we were just talking about Taylor Swift and Harry Styles as they toured northern England for Swift’s 23rd birthday, it appears their (puppy) love-fest has ended.
The rumors are going strong that Swift and the 18-year-old singer are no more, with a source telling People magazine that their romance came to an end after they reportedly spent time together over the holidays.
It’s been presumed that the duo started dating in mid-November, when they were seen playing around and holding hands on the set of “The X Factor.”
According to People magazine, Swift and Styles went skiing in Park City, Utah, the weekend before Christmas on a trip that included on-again, off-again couple Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.
A photo suggested that Swift and Styles brought in 2013 with a kiss on New Year’s Eve before finding warmer temps in the British Virgin Islands for the New Year.
By January 4, though, Swift appeared to catch a boat by herself to board a plane back home, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.
So while we eagerly await a new song about this supposed breakup, others are busy trying to read between the characters in Swift’s tweets, such as this one posted on January 5: “…’til you put me down.”
