WILTSHIRE, England — Skydiving buddies came to the rescue of one of their own after jumping out of a plane over England.

Seconds after James Lee jumped from a plane, he was hit in the head by a fellow jumper’s leg. The impact knocked Lee unconscious. He continued to fall back to earth exceeding speeds of 100 mph.

“Two of my friends that saw what happened, came down, tried to see if I was responding to basic hand signals and there was no response,” Lee told ABC News.

A helmet camera captured the entire incident. Video shows Lee’s friends attempting to communicate with him. When he failed to respond, they took hold of Lee’s arms and were able to pull his parachute cord.

As Lee descended under the umbrella of his parachute, he regained consciousness and landed safely.

He said he has no recollection of the incident.
