CYBER BULLYING STATISTICS
• 25% of school-age children have been repeatedly taunted by bullies using video, pictures and text transmitted via smart phones
• More than 50% of adolescents and teens have been bullied online
• More than one in three have experienced cyber threats online
• The majority of this cyber bullying goes unreported to parents and school officials
CYBER BULLYING IN SCHOOL
- Most cyber bullying incidents have involved girls
- A group of girls tormenting another girl online over boyfriends. often referred to as “shaming” OR “slut shaming”
