TAMPA BAY, Fla. — A holiday concert with an adorable 5-year-old singing and signing the words for her deaf parents is making waves on the Internet.

Video of the enthusiastic blonde was posted Dec. 9, by her mother and already it’s received nearly two million hits.

Lori Koch tweeted about her daughter’s signing ability shortly after Thamsanqa Jantjie, a sign language interpreter, was called out for ‘fake’ signing during Nelson Mandela’s memorial service in South Africa earlier this week.

Koch tweeted a video of her daughter to CNN’s Piers Morgan, saying, “My 5-year-old signed even better for her deaf parents in an xmas show.”

Koch later told FOX 13 in Tampa, “”It became obvious he [Thamsanqa Jantjie] was making things up. He was repeating the same hand movements so it was obvious he was a fake.”

As for Koch’s daughter, she’s receiving accolades on the Internet — not only for being excellent at sign language, but for captivating the audience with her adorable antics.
