WARSAW, Mo. — Authorities say a man has drowned while fishing at Truman Lake.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 67-year-old Sherman Wright, of Warsaw.
The patrol says the Corps of Engineers responded Sunday after Wright’s boat was found floating and unoccupied on the lake. A dragging operation began, and Wright was found next to his fishing line, which was tangled in a tree.
