MERRIAM, Kan. — We don’t know if its new home is made from straw, sticks, or brick, but one little piggie is just happy to be going home.
The pig, predictably named Petunia when she was found last month in Brown Park in Merriam, has been cared for by the Great Plains SPCA.
Her new owner took her home on Wednesday after Petunia’s original owners never came forward. According to the SPCA, the new owner has experience with pet pigs.
