If you’re weary of the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, vowing that you’ve clicked on your last video, then perhaps one more will help reignite your patience with the campaign.

“Now I’ve watched about a hundred videos for the ALS challenge… but this video here actually made me cry. It starts off as silly, and if you want to skip the silliness, jump to the 2:03 mark and watch from there,” said Megami Sama in a YouTube comment.

Anthony Carbajal was recently diagnosed with ALS at only 26-years-old.  He looks healthy and full of a bright future in the video, but looks can be deceiving. In his Ice Bucket Challenge video, he describes his current symptoms and loss of function, and what he expects to happen next to his body.

According to the ALS Association, Ice Bucket donations have reached $53.3 million. Last year during the same time period (July 29 to August 21), donations were $2.2 million.
