KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thousands of people braved the rain at Union Station on Sunday evening to pay tribute to those service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

The 13th annual Celebration at the Station included music from the Kansas City Symphony and local favorites The Elders, as well as tributes to America’s fallen heroes. The event was capped off by a giant fireworks display.
