JACKSON, N.J. – Six Flags in Jackson, New Jersey is set to open the world’s tallest drop tower ride this month.

The highly anticipated ride, which will be called the “Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom,” is 415 feet tall and will drop its “gondola” riding passengers at a very fast 90 miles per hour; all in less than 10 seconds.

The ride is surrounded by the roller coaster, “Kingda Ka,” which reaches record-breaking speeds of up-to 128 mph.

According to FOX 4 sister station FOX 8 in North Carolina, Six Flags said the attraction would open in the spring of 2014, but did not provide a specific date. The last piece of the ride’s track was placed on Monday.
