KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A local animal shelter is seeking financial help after a large amount of their vaccines were accidentally destroyed.
Over the weekend, a volunteer at Unleashed Pet Rescue in Mission, Kan. unplugged a refrigerator by mistake. There were vaccines inside for dogs and cats that needed to be maintained at a cool temperature.
Now the no-kill shelter must replace $1,600 worth of vaccinations.
