KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A “Twitterstorm” was created by a vigilante hacker group Tuesday.  Anonymous asked people to use the hashtag #opmaryville to raise awareness about the alleged rape of two teen girls in Maryville, Mo.  The group had some tweets pre-written, but said people could write their own tweets if they wanted.  Some of the tweets include:

“Join the #Maryville protest on Oct. 22 in support of Daisy Coleman. Read more: http://pastebin.com/W9ycQUkB

“We demand you immediate investigation into lack of charges against Barnett, despite confession/evidence. @Koster4Missouri #Maryville”

Anonymous hopes to put pressure on Attorney General Chris Koster to re-open the case.
