KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline and the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department are seeking the public’s help with identifying a person involved in an aggravated assault earlier this year.

The incident took place in the 1000 block of West 111th Street in Kansas City, Missouri in February of this year. Police said the victim, who survived, was shot four times in a reported robbery after returning home, but the victim’s dog, Duke, who was also shot did not survive.

A composite sketch has been created by local artist of a possible suspect in the case made by using witness input. According to a release, the reward in the case currently stands at up to $15,000 for anonymous information leading to an arrest, submitted through the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline.

Lamar Outdoor has already placed digital billboards up near I-70 and Benton and I-70 and I-435, near the Kansas Speedway, in regards to this case and reward.
